The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection - Debut of Superyacht ILMA
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has unveiled its second newly built yacht, the luxury superyacht Ilma, which takes its name from the Maltese word for “water”. The yacht features 10 decks and 224 suites, each with private terraces with direct access to the ocean. The interior of the yacht was designed by London-based architecture and design firm AD Associates, while the exterior of the yacht was designed by Helsinki-based Aivan. The yacht measures 790 feet long and can accommodate up to 448 guests.
Ilma will set sail on its first trip to Northern Europe in the summer of 2025, with an itinerary that includes Amsterdam, Stockholm and Reykjavik, the first Northern Europe trip for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
Featuring five dining spaces, an in-suite dining program, a seven-person bar, and a specialty wine library, Ilma yachts are equipped with a variety of dining options that offer coffee by day and cocktails by night, creating a welcoming atmosphere and space.
Ilma's debut of a spacious marina and waterfront terrace has become a hallmark of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection fleet, and is best characterized by large glass windows that bring in natural light and side doors that can be opened and suspended above the water, as well as a hydraulic platform that enables guests to have a direct connection to the sea while the yacht is docked.
Ilma's 10 decks provide ample space for live entertainment and sunbathing, with a main swimming pool, poolside bar and outdoor LED screens. The ship is also equipped with a spa and three different types of fitness spaces.
