Italian AB Yachts Launches Its First AB 130/200 Sports Yacht, Delivery by the End of the Year

Italian shipyard AB Yachts has recently launched the first model in the AB 130 series of sports yachts—the AB Yachts AB 130/200. The yacht is currently undergoing its final sea trials at the AB Yachts shipyard in Viareggio, Italy, and is expected to be officially delivered to its owner by the end of 2024.

One of the highlights of this yacht is its unique stern design, which includes an extendable beach area. This feature is quite rare in sports yachts. When the side wings of the stern are extended, the area of the rear platform will significantly increase, forming a spacious water terrace that directly connects to the main deck's cockpit and salon. Especially when the sliding doors of the main salon are opened, the indoor and outdoor spaces blend seamlessly, forming a multifunctional open area with a total area of 100 square meters, also equipped with a sea view pool that can be opened according to needs.

The floating garage at the stern is also an innovative design of the AB 130/200. This area can not only store a variety of water equipment but also provides guests with a rich selection of water activities. The garage can accommodate two three-seater water scooters, Seabob divers, electric hydrofoil boards, stand-up paddleboards, bicycles, and inflatable toys, and can even store a 4.6-meter auxiliary boat. The yacht also has a spacious flybridge that offers an excellent view of the sea, and the seating layout can be customized according to personal needs.

The AB 130/200 is equipped with a water jet propulsion system, with a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots, with a range of 4,500 nautical miles at this speed. With a draft of only 1.3 meters, this yacht can conveniently enter shallow water areas, such as the Caribbean, Miami, or the Bahamas. To ensure the comfort of navigation, the yacht is also equipped with the latest generation of Seakeeper SK26 stabilizers, which can effectively reduce sea bumps and provide a smooth sailing experience.
