The Italian brand Sanlorenzo Yachts was founded in 1958 by Gianfranco Cecchi and Giuliano Pecchia in Limite Sull'Arno, near Florence, Italy. In 1972, it relocated to Viareggio in Tuscany and was taken over by Giovanni Jannetti.
