Feadship Resale is established, and Double Haven will be showcased at the 2024 FLIBS

At the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), the Feadship brand will debut its pre-owned yacht resale division—Feadship Resale. This initiative marks a new milestone for Feadship in the yachting industry, with the 51-meter Feadship yacht Double Haven serving as the first showcase of this new department.

Originally launched in 1993, Double Haven remains in excellent condition following a complete refit in 2024 and has successfully passed the Lloyd’s Register 30-year certification. The yacht’s design is spacious, utilizing a full-beam structure that enhances the interior’s open feel. One of the standout features is its unique aft deck design, which allows the garage to be converted into a watersports center, directly connected to the aft lounge area on the main deck, thus enhancing both functionality and entertainment options.

The yacht’s upper deck houses a luxurious apartment designed for long-term living, featuring a balcony, a private bathroom, and a personal living room, reflecting the original owner’s high demands for comfort. Additionally, Double Haven boasts a fuel capacity of 120,000 liters—approximately 30% more than similar yachts—combined with robust reserve systems, allowing for up to six months of long-range ocean cruising. The design also accommodates helicopter operations, offering more opportunities for extended travel and exploration.

Feadship Resale aims to provide additional support to the yacht brokerage industry rather than replace existing brokerage models. The division will offer specialized technical support and in-depth analysis for each Feadship yacht, working closely with leading yacht brokerage firms to ensure maximum exposure and optimal sales guidance for the yachts on the market. Arjen van Elk, head of Feadship Resale, stated, "Our mission is to preserve the value and legacy of every Feadship yacht. Feadship Resale is a key step in advancing that goal."

Currently, the Feadship resale fleet includes the 83.50-meter Savannah, the 55-meter Somnium, the 65-meter Wedge Too, and the 37.95-meter Monaco, with some of these yachts co-listed by top brokerage firms.

From October 30 to November 3, 2024, Double Haven will be showcased at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the Hall of Fame Marina, Face Dock, Slip 20. Visits are by appointment only.
